I will be moving in Jan. This is the second time I'll have to pack up and move the GMC in a non running condition. Thankfully it's on a rolling chassis. I had to temporarily install cab and bed to make things easier. Thanks to ideas of those here who have made a cab and bed lifting jig (made mine out of a 4X4 and used the engine hoist) the job was accomplished with a lot less trouble than trying to round up 4 friends to lift this stuff. Has anyone here had to move their project vehicle more than once???

Good luck with the move. Where are you shipping off to this time?

Yah mine has been moved 3 times! It now is at it's final address

Thankfully it's a local move only 15 miles away. Thanks for the well wishes and Merry Christmas to all!

I can't imagine doing this every few years like the active duty military guys! It's hard enough to keep your family together while on active duty, let alone all your stuff!

I know what you mean, I had to abandon my project in mid stride because of a move to Germany
