Anyone running Stainless Rear Disc's ?

I am looking at rear disc kits and Stainless Brakes (SSB?) has a kit for 73 - 87 trucks for $699 or so . Anyone have these and if so , how do you like them ? If you are running another brand kit , who made it and how do you like it ? Frank

Check this out...

http://www.gmtrucks.org/component/op...isc_brake_kits

I had them and then got rid of them. I'm going to put discs on my 86 project truck, but I'll be using the Impala SS/F body rear calipers, the Impala SS rotors and a disc/disc master cylinder. I'll get the brackets made and will stay away from cobbled together 'kits' like the one from SSBC.

Read this thread for good info about rear discs:

I don't know of anyone making the Impala caliper brackets, but with the picture in that thread, you can make them yourself.
