Help on how to decode a vin/serial number
I'm looking at a truck that is between a 47-54 but am not expericed enough to figure it out. The truck has a

There is a thread at the begining of this section labeled "On Line Manuals" I looked there and the only JP code belongs to a 51. I don't know what the L means after JP though. You might look there and see if you can find something. I know that there are some differences in the grill but I don't know what grills go to what years etc.
