a few ?????'s
new to 67-72 trucks and have a couple questions. what the difference between a 67 and a 72? i just bought a 67 swb and have a 72 lwb.
the 67 needs alot of work and the 72 has a ton of new parts. i like the swb. thanks for the help matt |

Welcome to the board from South Mississippi! Lot's of differences between the two....72 has disc brakes up front, 67 has drums; front clip (fenders, hood, grill, core support) are different, (you can swap them entire between the two, but not piecemeal, the 67 fenders won't work with the 72 hood for example.) There are smaller differences, like the mirror on the 72 is glued to the windshield instead of mounted to the cab, the accelarator linkage is a cable instead of a rod, the ebrake is a pedal instead of a hand lever. That's just off the top of my head.

10.5 what exactly are you wanting?If you are looking for a 72 swb then you have what you need,that is if you are mechanically inclined.If you are looking for an excuse to keep/restore both we can help.If you give us a specific goal we can guide you or if you're just looking for ideas we can help there too.
