Question Can Any Of You Guys Help ?

Hey Guys, Another newbie here. This is one awesome site !

I'm restoring my truck and would like to add a set of "Heavy Half" decals on the bed sides as on the 78 Chevy/GMC's. My problem is I have spent countless hours trying to locate a set and have fell short, Also a lot of time even trying to find a good picture of one. I have a graphic artist lined up to make me a set if only I had a picture.

Doe's any of you guys own or know someone that owns one of these trucks that may be willing to snap me a couple close-ups ?

Thanks for any help....

Re: Can Any Of You Guys Help ?

Guys;

Watch eBay, they occassionally come up there. You need to be patient, as I have found several sets of Big 10 decals and picked them up for less than $20.00 shipped. Heavy half decals are not quite as common.

Re: Can Any Of You Guys Help ?

There is a company that advertises in a lot of the magazines that sells the transfers for many cars and trucks. Their add usually has a big TransAm Firebird in the picture, I would look there also.

That was my thoughts....There are so few of these trucks around that it would be a little hard to pick-up on.

It's in the link as 8 bucks each and it comes right to your door, Since I had such a hard time getting this far I'm getting a couple sets.

Re: Can Any Of You Guys Help ?

I think the GMC had the "heavy half" decals, and the Chevy ones would be "Big 10".

Re: Can Any Of You Guys Help ?

i would like to know about the big 10 decals, to. I have 2 1977 heavy halfs/big 10s. It would be cool if i could slap two of those on my old work truck.

Re: Can Any Of You Guys Help ?

Using the pic that Jeff posted, I thought I throw some Heavy Half versions together...
from a duplication of the original to a chrome version to a brushed AL version to a colored version to an engine ID version. The combinations could be endless.
