Wtb 396
I have a friend with a 69 nova ss 396 the car currently has a 355 that is all hopped up he wants to put a period correct 396 back in the car and tame it down for some cruising this summer anyone have one or enough parts to build one prefer a standard bore 396 may consider a 402 as a second choice if no 396's pop up again he is wanting a late 68 or any 69 block if possible thanks to all who check this out mike
Mods if this is the wrong place to post this please move and thanks mike

Re: Wtb 396
It needs to be on the parts board, but I don't know which one you would prefer (I'm leaning towards 67-72). Which would you prefer?

Re: Wtb 396
I have a complete 402, shortblock is complete, but will need a rebuild. The heads are redone, and I have new valves and seals ready to be assembled. I'm asking $400 for the lot of it. I think I had $200 in getting the heads redone alone.

Re: Wtb 396
is he looking for just a block to build or does he want a motor all done? I have a '69 Motor (Chevelle) completely done over that I will sell for the right price.
