Re: Fender problems
If i am not mistaken i would say the 67 and the 68 front grill would work, i know the finders are pretty much the same from a gmc as the 67 and 68 finders are...not 100%

Re: Fender problems
Yes, the GMC fenders are different. They would work with a 67-68 chevy grill, but you would also have to purchase a 67-68 CHEVY core support, grill, and hood latch.
If you like the looks of the 72 front clip, you'd still have to get a 69-72 hood, core support, hood latch, and fenders.

Re: Fender problems
Do you still have the core support for the 72? You will need a 69-72 chevy core support to go back stock. No the gmc fenders are different here is how it brakes down, 67 chevy and gmc- same fender no marker lights, 68 chevy and 68-72 gmc- same fender with marker lights, 69-72 chevy only- indented for aluminum grill. You could put a 67-68 chevy grill on the gmc front clip but will need a 67-68 hood a 67-68 hood latch and remove the gmc headlight mounting brackets and find 67-68 headlight assembalies. Or if the gmc front clip is all there including gmc grill just use that. There are alot of variables here you can see. I hope I havent made things harder for you.
