what do you think about this on craig's list?

recent craig's list post in my area. what do you guys think? seems like a good deal to me, but i'm fairly inexperienced with these things.

Sounds like a good deal to me, almost too good. That's pretty cheap in my opinion if the only thing wrong is a blown head gasket.

If the head gasket is blown, the heads will need to be checked for sure. I would go for it based on what all is included. It wouldn't take much to shave the blown head and get it going.

sounds good if it indeed is just a blown head gasket and not a cracked head. I would ask him if there were any other issues like the customer was towing and running 260degrees when it happend.I guess even a short block is worth 300 so go for it
