Re: Anyone in the Wichita, KS area???????????
I'm in the area but sadly the only free time I get is after the kids go to bed and I run off to the shop to get some work done on my trucks. Happy to help with any advice though!

Thanks guys, I am not sure what kinda help I will need yet either, I am just about to start my project and was trying to find some local guys that have experience, in case I need it.
Also if you need tires or wheels for your projects or anything let me know. My name is Orlando and I work at "The Tire Store Inc." on Broadway just let me know who you are and I will make you a really good deal . Thanks |

Wichita here. I can help but I'm starting a project of my own, 1972 c-10 picking her up tomorrow.
Could use some old tires to stick on her the ones she has go flat after a day(so I'm told) Rick |

Re: Anyone in the Wichita, KS area???????????
I am new to the board. I am located near Derby. I recently picked up a 68 SWB I have some plans for. Much of the work has already been done on the truck. Amazingly enough, it's a truely rust free truck. No cutting has been done on it. Restoring to original. Here is a sneak peak:
Gotta get the rallies powder coated and the bed on. More pics to come and a formal introduction. |

Re: Anyone in the Wichita, KS area???????????
I'll second the recommendation of Lorac - they do nice work. I had them power coat my fuel tank that sits on my flatbed.
Nice looking truck terryks. I drop my kids off to school in Derby each morning.

Re: Anyone in the Wichita, KS area???????????
Hey fellow wichitians, a favor needed.
The trailer I was borrowing is out for me one tomorrow, seems it is being used to help out shipmans auto on south broadway since they had a fire last night. Is there anybody willing to loan a guy a trailer for a day so I may be able to retrieve my 72 from Oklahoma? You can reach me on my cell 519-4601.
