Vent Window Rebuild
Just completed the rebuilding of the vent window assemblies on the 54 and thought someone else may have need of the information. Hope it helps someone. The process is probably similar for any vent window style.

That proces brought back a lot of memories (not all good ones)
Now I remember why they wanted so much to rebuild my wing windows. I will keep your thread for future build on my 53. Thanks for sharing, good write up.

I have been staring at my 53 wind wings thinking this will be a job. I looked for new frames but could not find them. Now I ready for the challenges thanks to your great instructions.

Hey phat53 when you get around to it let me know and I will drop my 53 frames and glass off at your place and you can do 4 of them at once and you will be the resident expert then!!
