Post Good tire sizes for 16'' wheels?

I am thinking about using 16x8 wheels, and I was wondering what would be good size tires to use? This will be on a 2wd, either stock height or lowered 2.5/4'' I am looking for 60 or 65 series tires that will be within a couple inches of the stock height, and not stick out too much past the fenders. I would like a 255/60 for the front, and 275/60 for the rear, but no one makes the same tire in both sizes. Would buying different kinds of tires for the front and back look too strange?

That is a choice you will have to live with.
I am going to run the Nitto NT-450 275/50-17 on all 4 corners.

Don't those Nitto's only last around 10,000-15,000 miles? Thats what I heard. I am running 255/50/17 Bridgestone Potenza RE730's. They are 9.5 wide and 27" tall
I've never heard of 275/60/16 tires, just 15's. You will need something at least 28" tall if you will be around stock height.

You can get 20,000+ out of the NT-450's if you take care of them.

Nitto makes 275/60-16 Proxes S/T s.

Would those even fit on the front? I have never seen them in person, but it sounds like they would be too wide. Another problem is that most of the 16'' tires aren't made for trucks. BFG makes a 265/65-16 Radial T/A I think too.

275/50-17
275 is 10.8 inches wide
50 is 5.41x2=10.8
10.8+17=27.8 inches tall

275/60-16
275 is 10.8 inches wide
60 is 6.48x2=12.96
12.96+16= 28.96
so your 275/60-16 is taller than the 275/50-17 by about an inch. I really dont know it that will fit.
