Re: 3rd brake light on 69 burban???
You can do it with no splicing even.
Go to the brake light switch on the pedal. Unplug it, and figure which wire is hot. (I can't remember off the top of my head) Now, slip a ire into the plug, on the non hot side of the plug, and plug the harnes back into the switch. It'll be hard to plug it back in, but you can get it on there. Run the wire back to the 3rd brake lamp, and hook it to the wire that lights up the bright side of the bulb. If the assembly doesn't ground it's self, then just take the ground wire of that 3rd brake light plug, and ground it with one of the bolts/screws that mount it to the body of the burb. |
