Hello All!!
Greetings all I wanted to say Hello and how happy I was to find this site. I am doing a restoration job on my 84 C10 that my father and I built and this site will be great for information and feedback.
Here are the specs on the truck: The Good: Year=> 1984 C10 Engine=> 1996 LT1 Corvette engine \w Accel DFI Chop=> 3.5" Lowering 4" Front : 6" Rear (All Bell Tech) Paint=> PPG pearl (Blue) Clear on white. PPG Prizmatique on Gold and Purple The Bad The truck was Vandalized 3 years ago when I lived in Pittsburgh: Smashed Front windshield Hood banged to crap, and Drivers side window smashed.. The Ugly Restoration = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Out of all the things I need to do to my truck I fear getting the front window cut is going to be the hardest.. But hey it will be worth it when I get her back on the road!! |

Re: Hello All!!
LoL, no I did not have a mad girlfriend, I still don’t know what happened. I was getting ready to move down to FL and I woke up to go to work one morning and I seen a glimmer of broken glass on the ground and big round rocks on my hood, needles to say I did not go to work that day… I was Miff’ed, all the time and money spent fixing it up to make a nice ride and some A`hole needed to mess it up. My father grew up in a body shop and he and his friend wanted to build a rod with a chopped top, so I guess what better rod than a cherry 1984 C10 purchased off an old man with 25,000miles on it. So to make a long story longer I mowed a bout 10,000 lawns to pay for the customizations on it and spent all my free nights and weekends working with my dad on it too. Now it resides in my garage in the sun shine state where I get to start over on it. My first project is going to be replacing the front end parts and powder coating most of them, then get the body shaved and panted rat rod black for now.
