Hydroboost leak
I have an 84 1-ton and the hydroboost has developed a leak where the 2 halves bolt together. This isn't at the firewall but out on the unit itself. I've searched but there doesn't seem to be gaskets available for this. Looks like something that can be replaced. I really don't want to buy a whole unit over this but it's leaking pretty bad.
Maybe make a gasket? I've search here and on a couple other forums but all I find is people replacing them. Seems pretty extreme over a gasket. Ideas or opinions please. Thanks. Mike |

Re: Hydroboost leak
hey mike, you can make a gasket easy the millwrights and pipefitters at work in the pulp mill do it all the time.just trace it and cut it out.just don't know where you can buy the material.
