Steering column for 73 blazer
My sons 73 blazer needs a colomn what years will fit in a 73 blazer. My brother gave me two that he had laying around one tilt and one not. The non tilt looks like it will bolt right in. The tilt looks like it will bolt in but the part that bolts to the [rag joint bar]? is splined and the one i have is square shaped . I also have a tilt out of a mid 80 chevy that looks right except the shift mechanism looks like it is on the wrong side. thanks for any info

Re: Steering colomn for 73 blazer
Are you saying the column in the 73 has the square shaped end? A 73 would have had a splined column from the factory. You can use either column if you find the mating intermediate shaft. I don't know for sure if the wiring is the same or not, but that wouldn't be too hard to check.
