Best Quality CPP or ECE???

Who seams to sell the better quality components? I am going to get a sway bar, drop center cross member, trans cross member, bushings and body mounts, shock kit, track bar kit, & hidden reciever hitch. Is their any real differences as far as quality and fitment???? Or is just what you like best???

Re: Best Quality CPP or ECE???

Don't know. I've only bought small stuff from both places but each was good quality. I have never heard anything bad about ECE, but I have heard several complaints about CPP. Anyone with better knowledge of the 2 know?

Too the words right out of my mouth.
Everything major suspension component I have on my project and rear frame brace came from ECE - their phone support is 2nd to none

Re: Best Quality CPP or ECE???

I bought sway bar brackets from ECE and although they were only simple brackets, I was impressed with their quality and the quality of the hardware they included. No history with CPP.

Has anyone used Performance Online (www.performanceonline.com)? Their prices look pretty good and I'm thinking about going with their disc conversion kit.

I have never ordered from CPP but have bought to suspension lowering kits from ECE and they are awesome. No problems or nothing. Quick promt and the even called me back just to make sure they had the order right. Class act group there.

Re: Best Quality CPP or ECE???

ECE gets my vote as well. Have purchased items from both companies and the ECE stuff required NO modifications. The CPP stuff did require mods, but only small stuff, not enough to really complain about.

I give ECE my vote. I have ordered from both, but ECE's customer service is EXCELLENT, not to mention that the parts I ordered were top quality and fit extremely well.

I don't know that much about CPP, but my Suburban could be a poster truck for ECE.

Re: Best Quality CPP or ECE???

I have bought from both and they both have good quality parts. I have got better customer service from ECE, they just seem more friendly and willing to take the time.

If CPP had the parts cheaper, I would go with the savings over warm fuzzy.

Another vote for ECE. Two drop kits with spindles, rear super track bars, front sway bars and front end rebuild kits. Everything fits perfectly with no installation issues.

Also, excellent tech help over the phone.

Re: Best Quality CPP or ECE???

I think they are both good company's that due our hobbie great services but it all comes down to personal preferance and mine is ECE. I have been buying from them for about 8-10yrs now and I have never once had a bad experance. Ask for Jerry and tell him Kevin and Nate (porterbuilt) from the board say Hi!

I have bought and installed everything from a Cab to a door panel screw from ECE and as for hidden hitches go I am a full on fabricator that can build anything I want but I chose their hitch kit due to the highest quality's I have seen. Go to "LFD's Low buck truck build" and you will see alot more of ECE's parts.

I think that's exactly what I purchased most recently from them.
Perhaps some more stuff in the past. I always look to them first.

Re: Best Quality CPP or ECE???

I have not purchased from CPP so I can't compare the two. I am very happy with the disc conversion kit and hidden hitch I purchased from ECE. They have generally provided great installation instructions and someone will walk you through it over the phone if need be.
