suspension drop ? for the experts!
I have an 84 c20 3/4 ton with the 8 lug wheels. Would I be able to use a drop for a c10 or would i have to get one for a c30? I've looked all over tha net and just can't figure this out. any help would be great!

Re: suspension drop ? for the experts!
You would have to at least swap over to 1/2 ton ball joints, rotors and calipers in the front to use 1/2 ton spindles. You might also have to swap the a-arms if there is any difference in the size of the ball joint bodies. The flip kit would be dependent on any differences in the axle tube diameters between a truck 10 bolt and 14 bolt.
Have you called any of the folks that make drop components (DJM, Western Chassis, or Belltech)? They should know what would fit your truck. I would guess that 1 ton parts would be more likely to fit than 1/2 ton. |
