Quick Question
This summer I should have a few extra dollars coming in and I'd really like to start work on my engine. It's an original 1972 5.7L SBC and I was wondering if any of you could recommend some reliable performance parts vendors for me. I have a few ideas but I'd like to hear from people who have had first hand knowledge of what's worth the money and what isn't. I'm looking for stuff like cylinder heads, intake, cam and crank and maybe some lower engine block pieces. Or if you think I should just leave the thing stock, that's cool too. I appreciate it, thanks.

Re: Quick Question
Do you have the engine in a Suburban? If so the Burbs are very heavy and if you are looking for power to move the Burb then a larger engine is something to consider.
The 350's are good engines and they do very well in stock form. HP increases can come at the expense of low end torque so you might spend a lot of money without making the Burb go faster. I have had good luck with Summit Racing for engine parts. Jim

Re: Quick Question
You should post this question over in the engine and drive train section.
