just a quick question.
so my new parts truck has a front sway bar. its not in bad shape but coud use some cleaning up. my question is can i use this on my project or should i buy a new one?

Use the existing swaybar and replace the rubber bushings...there is not much you can do to them. Some like to use the larger 1 1/8" bars from later model or larger trucks but the stock bar is fine.

Moog sells real nice urethane bushings that you can buy anywhere Moog products are sold. Around here, that's O Reilly Auto Parts. There is a swaybar article in the FAQ section that gives pictures and details.
