How many quarts of ATF in a TH350?
Hi guys,
I just drainded my trans and changed the filter. Put the new gasket on the pan and bolted it all back together...went to my chiltons to see how many quarts of ATF to put in and........it doesn't say! How many should I add before I start the motor and check the fluid???? |

Man, put about 8 in it and check it!!. I know the converter holds 1.5 usually and it took me about 10 to get one full I installed.

If all you did is pull the pan and changed the filter, you will need 5 quarts. If the whole thing was drained, including the converter, it will hold 11. That would be in a case such as a rebuild, etc.
