Re: Highlander is above "Top Of The Line"?

I had thought that "Highlander" was a promotional package.

I do not know enough about it to edit the dictionary, but anyone can.

It was a promo pkg,yet a model in itself.Like everything I read on these trucks, the "experts" never have their facts straight. There`s mention that there were GMC Highlanders...not!In`71 CST is mid-range?...not even a model!Where`s the CustomDeluxe?
These guys should do a search,"67-72 Chevy Trucks".I`d think they`d end up hear pretty directly(I`ve never tryed)since that`s basically this site`s addy. Then they could do some reserach and get the facts, right? How hard is that?I do it all the time

Re: Highlander is above "Top Of The Line"?

Thanks Special-K.

Is there a way that I can get any documentation on what the "Highlander" promo package contained, in order to make the change in that dictionary?

Re: Highlander is above "Top Of The Line"?

I saw the brochure, but want to get the facts straight before sending to wikipedia.

I am assuming that the highlander promo package could have been added to any model Chevy, but was merely the seat cloth, wheel covers, and chrome trim?
