Re: 71/72 Plastic Door Panels
Hi, I'm new. Do these fit a '69? And how about the arm rest, will my stock ones work with these panels? I'm in Bedford. I need black.

Re: 71/72 Plastic Door Panels
Those fit 1972 only unless you install the window regulator assemblies from a 72 and install them in a 67-71 door shell. The 72's have longer shafts to make up for the thickness of the plastic panel. FYI

Re: 71/72 Plastic Door Panels
I have not messed with them other than nocking the dust off.
Thanks, jc for the info in the regulators. I had no idea, I have always liked and used the metal door panels.

Re: 71/72 Plastic Door Panels
Hey worn brakes, could you try and take off the glue with a chemical. Let me know how it works out, I may be interested if it comes off. Just try a small spot. J.

Re: 71/72 Plastic Door Panels
I took a stab at removing the dried glue. I did it where the armrest would cover it.
On the side toward the edge of the panel, I used GOO GONE (sticker remover). Scrubed a little with scotch brite and then whiped off. It worked well. Toward the middle of the panel I used Mineral Spirit and it worked well also. I would recomend the GOO GONE and the thinner may dry out the plastic. Please let me know what you would like to do. Thanks
