Gear Vendors is a good outfit.
A little computer control box came with my gear vendors overdrive unit and I installed it but I don't like computers in cars and trucks. I know I'm old school but I like making the decisions myself. Anyway, the computer dropped dead on me the other day. Good news is I still had two months of warranty left! Never happens right? Usually it goes bad two months after the warranty expires. I called them and they sent a new one right out with no hassle at all. Its in and running so I thought I's give them a good word. Still don't want a computer though.

Re: Gear Vendors is a good outfit.
I love my GV. It drops my rpms by 1,000 at 70mph. I use mine in manual mode cause they shift so hard under a light load. I just let up on the gas pedal slightly when I step on the manual shift button. When I tow my travel trailer it shifts smooth as silk.
