I paid $200 for my take-out. It was in a 87 S10 Blazer with a 4.3. All I did was have it resealed for $60 and have it behind my 402. I tow with it and havent had any problems with it. It even came with the coverter, TV cable and filler tube. I also got one for a 4x4 from a trans shop in town. They rebuilt it with new converter and TV cable and NO core charge for $600. When I was in Milwaukee I saw take-outs in the paper for $175 every week. Good luck.

I paid 100.00 for the core. It's in an 88 Camaro. The tranny shop will build it up so I can tow my car trailer with a car on it, with the A/C on and not have problems. They already did this for a friend of mine.........I know it will work.
