Re: What did you get done this weekend

I replaced the bottom portion of the battery tray and powder coated it, repaired the pass inner fender and core support for the c10.

And finished my portable infrared (actually radient heat) propane fueled powder coat curing stand.

Re: What did you get done this weekend

I put inner and outer tie rods on my 68 short wide. Then I greased the front end. Used the 67 stepside to go get the parts. Wootdog.

Re: What did you get done this weekend

Installed the white gauges from whitegauges.net. The interior is starting to come together. Next weekend I put the door panels and new cranks in, as well as the blue LED lights (Thanks to 70c10 for the mod tips here ).

Re: What did you get done this weekend

Installed the side and wing windows, worked on the doors, drilled the holes in my new hood for the "Chevrolet" which was nerve wracking, primed, painted, cleared the hood and endgate, installed them, played soccer with the family, then went on a bicycle ride with my son. I'm pooped! (and sore!)

Took the front clip off. Taking it to a body guy in the next couple of days. He will be replacing the rocker panels, kick panels and part of the floor boards.

I got my ECE hidden Hitch installed on the stepside, and disassembled my 70 3/4 ton parts truck to a bare frame. I'm pooped, too!

Re: What did you get done this weekend

removed the tranny from my blue 72. The flex-plate has had a missing tooth ever since we owned it, and the 2 month old starter wasn't engauging right and tearing the flex plate up even more. Turns out the starter needed to be shimmed away from the block and cracked the starter housing. Thanks to oreilly's lifetime warranty it was free!!! Got the driveshaft/tranny out saturday and today (sunday) dad and i replaced the flexplate, tranny and the starter. Now it sounds like butter All better!! Also got an electronic flasher from oreilly's and now my led brake lights work perfectly!

That's some pretty good smearing, wish I could smear that good.

I only did what I couldn't get out of, turns out I got out of most all of it.
