Smile Just had to share my excitement - first drive!

Just had to share this with my truck friends who might not make it over to the Blazer forum, got to drive my 70 K5 for a very short and unplanned drive for the first time. Bought the 70 K5 back in Feb. of 2004 and it has been patiently waiting my completion of the 69 K20 before I could start working too much on it.

Got the rebuilt 400 sbc fired up a couple weeks ago and been completing loose ends ever since. Got the brakes done this weekend and just had to grab the kids and wife and go for a short drive.

Still lots to do but getting closer!

Here is a post with more detailed info about the project for anyone who is interested.

And here is an mp3 file of the K5 running.

Thanks guys, still a bit to do before it can actually be considered road worthy, but soon, very soon! Can't wait to yank the top!
