Well, heres some pics of my ghetto, redneck, poor boy paint job.

Its close to a hundred dollars wirth in rattle can primer. (sorry body guys, I think I broke the quarter size rule

)

But anyways, I think it came out decent, I ran out of black primer today while doing the roof, it needs another coat.
No pics of the engine compartment yet, currently painting it and the motor right now.

Then next is the interior.

Future plans include a rear roll pan, and theres a blazer tank sitting in the garage ready to be installed, the peep mirrors came in today too.

Nothing wrong with that. It's nice to see one a little different, you don't see many red primered rigs. I've had my share of primered trucks & cars.

I like it too! I've been thinking of doing that to mine. I can't afford to paint it, but the original paint is dissappearing. Question for those who have done it, How good do you need to sand it down?

I like it. But i've always liked primer. My first car was a black primed '53 Chevy. And i've rattle canned a few my self.

Looks good to me I've always liked the look of red oxided primer.

Do you realize that primer doesn't seal? It will rust on you. You can go over it with a flat red to seal it if you like the color.
