UPDATE: Would you do it,(hint)YES I DID !!!!
If you have seen my other post called ,would you do it, where I asked if this rig was worth buying, This is the follow up. I picked it up today after a couple of weeks of thinking hard about it and really checking it. Here is the link to the first tread with more pictures and details.

Sweet ride.... I'd ditch those steps. Probably helpful in gettin' in but they just don't look right for some reason... But if you like'em, gitrdone.....

I took the pictures right after getting it home, but my wifes first response was "are you going to keep those ugly steps." I will end up getting rid of them as soon as I can afford something different.

Looks great! Nice wheels & tires. You scored if you paid less than $4,000.

Re: UPDATE: Would you do it,(hint)YES I DID !!!!
Glad to hear you picked it up, good decision IMO.
No worries on the steps, they'll be gone after the first wheeling adventure. Last edited by vtblazer; 03-29-2007 at 07:32 AM. |

Nice Truck - none in that condition (or that price) in this area - at least not that I have found in my searching. I will keep at it though.
Congrats on the purchase! Tom Toledo, Ohio |

Re: UPDATE: Would you do it,(hint)YES I DID !!!!
Thanks everyone !!!! I really wish to thank all those who answered on the first tread for the advice, it gave me some ammo when I went to go make the final deal. I have two friends who want to buy the 454 out of it already, I am starting to get the parts together to put in my Vortec motor in with a carb . I really like the newer factory rally wheels myself, but the wife wants some with some with more bling to them. That does not bother me though, I like the fact that she likes this Blazer and supports having it. I will have to make it a little more family friendly by dropping it down on to 33's and taking some of the lift out, but not a problem since the plan is to use it as a summer time road warrior at car shows and cruise ins.
