Custom Autosound
Hey There! I found this post on Custom Autosound stereos...
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=192438 I'd like to hear more input on them as I'm thinking of putting one in. I'm not big into the whole car audio scene (I still have a cassette player in my 93 Nissan), but my setup now isn't the best. The truck I just got has the old radio in the dash, unplugged, and a cassette player in the dash with speakers sitting under the seat. I'd like to be able to change the station or volume without laying across the seat... slight hazard I'm thinking the USA-6, because I don't need cassette and some day I will probably want to add the cd changer. Are there any reviews or other options?!

Re: Custom Autosound
For the money, I would consider other shaft-style options first. I purchased a USA radio for my GMC to keep the old-school look, and sound quality was a secondary consideration.

Re: Custom Autosound
I'm not a big audio fan but I do like to have a radio in the truck. I bought the custom autosound because it fit my dash. IT SUCKS!!! Its just a cheap POS. I built a console for my truck when I put in the bucket seats and installed a Panasonic from Wal Mart. Its ten times the radio at less money. The custom autosound just fill a hole in the dash now. Don't buy it!!
