Power steering junk run

I'm going to look for the parts to complete my ps. I've got a 68 box and a later model 305 (mid 80s I'm assuming, haven't checked the numbers) in the truck. What should I look for in the area of pump, brackets, and lines. Thanks.

Get everything from a 73-87 truck. You will like the variable PS box!. That last bolt on the bracket in the motor mount is a PAIN to get to!

I was planning on using the box that I have. Can I use it and everything else from a 73-87? What are the advantages of going with the 73-87 box? I know I've heard that '76 has a quicker ratio. Anything else?

You can use everything else 73- 87 (or 68-87 for that matter). The 76-87 box is variable ratio, like 3 1/8 turns to lock. It gives a much more "modern feel" to your steering. I know with my old 69 box it felt kinda like cranking a bus steering wheel around in a parking lot, I think it must be 56 turns to lock .
