New Short wide beds?
Is there any companies out there that sell complete new fleetside beds for the 67-72's? Or do you just need bedsides, front panel, tailgate and wood kit? I'm not real sure about how those beds are put together. I have a 94 stepside bed right now and would love to have a original wide box. thanks

Re: New Short wide beds?
I called them and they dont sell the bedsides or tailgates. It would seem like some co. would sell a whole kit to build a new bed.

Re: New Short wide beds?
www.goodmarkindustries.com has all the sheetmetal. You'll have to get the bedwood from someone else.

Re: New Short wide beds?
It depends on what bed you have, LWB or SWB, you can get everything for short bed, step side or fleet side, but long bed you can't get the fleet bed sides "YET" there coming. You can get long step side thow. All beds just wood floor, but there working on a short metel floor.

Re: New Short wide beds?
Ok, to my knowledge, no one sells an assembled Shortwide box... Although everything is available... So,... here's a question...
How much were you expecting to pay for an all aftermarket assembled shortbed? I wonder if this could be a marketable deal??? buy all the pieces to assemble a complete wood floor shortwide box... assemble and sell...? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm? I guess it all depends on the $$$ a person is willing to spend on it plus shipping? I'm just mostly curious about what you were thinking the price of what you were looking for, would be? $2500.00 or $3500.00 or more???

Re: New Short wide beds?
Shipping would be the killer to shipping the bed assembled.
Also my new Mar-K bed on my 59 was painted before it was assembled.

Re: New Short wide beds?
Assembleing the bed wouldnt be any problem, i just think one of these co should sell a kit with all the metal instead of trying to figure out all the peices and order them seperatly. I've looked and havent seen it broke down on what exactly you need to complete a bed. Anyone have a list? Thanks

Re: New Short wide beds?
Try Early Classic, I have seen several times where they offer a complete short wide bed.
