Headers?????????
I'm looking for some BBC headers that work with 4X4 67-72 trucks with manual clutch linkage.........Over the frame would work too if that's all that's available........Manufacturer and part numbers would be great! If you have a used set for sale that would be better. Don't mean to break the rules with that last sentence...........

Well I used Thorleys but I also converted to hydrolic clutch at the same time so I don't know if they will work for you. I use to run Hedmens on my SBC & manual linkage, nice fit..

For my 69 K20 that I put a bbc into I used Dynomax Cermacoated headers, part number 86022, designed for the 67-87 BBC 2WD but also changed to a hydraulic clutch at the same time. As you can see from this pic, looks like there would be interference with the z-bar.
I tried a set of their 4wd bbc headers for the later years and had lots of other interference issues so they were not useable at all for me. Seems one side would go in but the other side couldn't even slide into place.

Yeah, I traded for a set of long tube truck headers a while back and couldn't fit them between the frame and block. Also, the passenger side collecter was very close to the CV joint on the front shaft. Looks like over the frame is going to have to be the only option for headers. I heard there are some large primary Rams Horn VETTE manifolds out there that flow pretty good.....anybody know anything about them?

Depending on what you are using the rig for headers aren’t worth the hassle for the small amount of HP they provide. I run stock manifolds on the stuff that I do not want to deal with burn wires, over heated starters and exhaust leaks on. I do have headers on my ’68 GMC with a bored and whored 396 but it has only seen less than 1 mile of driving in the last 7 years although it has actually gone more than 1600 miles on a trailer. No joke!
