Question Fender Emblems

What is the diffrence in C/10, CST/10 and Custom/10. I have the custom/10 on my truck but when I do my body work I need to know if it is worth the $75 a side to replace them.

Truck is now finished to the new owners design and running around.
I was shown some pictures of the finished product. At least it survived the junk yard.

Re: Fender Emblems

I Believe the mounting holes are different for each. The longer the name, the wider the holes.

Re: Fender Emblems

I would really like to know the difference as well. Also what about Custom/10 Deluxe?

Thanks, Justin

Re: Fender Emblems

I'm not worried about the mounting holes. I can fix that with a Mig welder and a drill.

Re: Fender Emblems

ok, then i don't understand the question.

If you asking which trucks came with which emblems, then i can't say much other than they designated the level of the truck.

I'm pretty sure c/10 was only used on 68-70 for standard trucks.

whereas CST/10 was used from 68-70 for some options (maybe a/c)

then there was the Deluxe and super badging that was added in 71 making CST-10 the standard with Deluxe or Super added below it.

71-72 also had the option for Cheyenne-10

Re: Fender Emblems

Then I guess I'll stay with the Custom/10 emblems

Re: Fender Emblems

I forgot to add the other emblem from 67-68

I personally like the C/10 emblem because it has a cleaner look, but since i'm incorporating parts from different years, i'm toying with the idea of using Emblems from 1962

Re: Fender Emblems

67-68 has the bowtie with the 10 under it, 69-70 has the c/10 and 71-72 has the custom/10, deluxe, cst, cheyenne, super, are all higher models that have different options

Re: Fender Emblems

All holes are the same for all emblems. In 69/70 from base to top-o-the-line:C/10,Custom/10,CST/10.In 71/72 they dropped the C/10 and made the Custom/10 the base, then introduced the Custom Deluxe/10,Cheyenne/10,and Cheyenne Super/10.

I know this to be fact. I bought a used fender that had the outline of "Custom10" in the paint. My "C/10" emblems fit in the holes with no modification.
