air conditioned cab question
Is there a differance other than the vent holes on the face of the dash? Are the holes the same on the fire wall side where the unit bolts to. Is the inner fender indented to make room. I know the glove box interior cardboard is smaller.

Re: air conditioned cab question
Is the firewall shape the same? Can the holed be modified to fit my air parts? Or is there a lot more to it than its worth?

Re: air conditioned cab question
I don't know if it is just the year model that makes the difference, but on the
68 non a/c cab that I have the holes are not the same as the holes on the 70 a/c cab that I have. |

Re: air conditioned cab question
The firewall can be altered to accept a/c unit on non a/c and visa-versa without detection once unit is in place.

Re: air conditioned cab question
Thanks neonlarry. That old post is exactly what I wanted to know. Weld in a patch panel, cut a new hole, replace the dash face and install the air parts from my donor pickup. Then be cool.
