Getting ready for the Meet!
I'm taking Monday off from work to finish her up!! Went to the Highland Games in Woodland Saturday had a great time, then went to bed early and got up Sunday to start back on the truck.
Got the new front seal and harmonic balancer in, adjusted the alt. bracket so the pulleys all line up, custom bent a new steel fuel line to fit the high-rise & the thermoquad, set the engine up on TDC and stabbed the distributor, valve covers installed, PCV and vacuum lines all fitted and last but not lease that silly little 1/16" tubing that goes to the factory oil gauge. Got it stabbed back in the truck. Tomorrow, it's linkage, motor mounts, a couple of wires & hoses, drop the radiator in & we're ready for the muffler shop.

Re: Getting ready for the Meet!
It's alive!!!! Fired the '66 off yesterday around 7:00PM. She's going in tho the pipe doctor to be fitted with a new dual exhaust. Then - it's on to the meet! I'm bringin' the big silver twinkie this year - I think she'll look cool with the Rust NEVER Sleeps banner proudly displayed on her side.
