Re: my redneck seat
Wow, you got the bucket seat option. I'm jealous. You knew someone was going to say it.
No joke, I just went and took this picture of my truck.... |

Re: my redneck seat
The milk crate is what I had during my build.
After we dropped the engine in and give it the break in we did a "test drive" down the road. Without the bed it was more of a test burnout. DLB |

Re: my redneck seat
va_tlc I like your truck, got any more pics on the build? Did you put 3/4 ton axles under it? Also, what size tires are those and were you still in need of a tie rod?
Mike

Re: my redneck seat
When my Toyota was stolen, they gutted the inside. I had to drive it home with a beach chair for a seat.

Re: my redneck seat
yea mike i still need the tie rod man, can u find out the shipping to 24477 please or how close are you to exit 52 b in carsile, i come there every nite i drive and thats my meet spot, yea i have a few pics of the build also, the truck started as a 2wd i bought a 3/4 ton frame and my brother cut it down and we just swapped the body over on it sounds simple huh... i was gonna call you my wife and i came to spring carsile but it was sunday when we made it there and didnt wanna bug ya on sunday. thanks tony oops the tires are 265 75r 16 on a 8 inch mt 11 classic i had bought the next size up and they rubbed bad, so i exchanged for the current set up, now im gonna add a spring to the front end to raise it a tad, just in case , so i dont rip a fender off, did all 3/4 ton have just 2 leafs in he front and reversed angle? now im kickin myself for not just putting a 4in lift in and 33 tires just got my front spring eye bushings those things were 40 bucks alone,

Re: my redneck seat
That looks like the orignal bucket seat! I think everyone has done that at some time or another. On my Corvette though, you sit so low that I was able to move it around just sitting on the floor.
