8-lug wheel suggestions

I'm really tired of trying to find 16.5" tires for my 71 3/4ton. Time for some new wheels- I'm thinking a 17" wheel but i don't know what I want. Any suggestions or pics?
Thanks!!!

What a great, clean, classic design! If I ever get new wheels, that's what I want... 16x8, with 285-75-16 BFG All Terrains.

Re: 8-lug wheel suggestions

I went to a Junkyard and bought some 16" wheels from another truck. Cheap and easy...I could even use the dog dish caps too...

I just spotted a set on CL for $100. I might have to pick those bad boys up, the H2 wheel looks great.

Re: 8-lug wheel suggestions

I found a set of Sidewinders at a garage sale,..
17" & 8 lug to boot..FWIW, I dig the al-lu-mini-um, sure drops off the weight , when running all tires.

Check out centerline and their over-stock wheels, new 18's, 20's etc for $159 a wheel.

Re: 8-lug wheel suggestions

Hey thanks for the help guys, I really like the Centerline Vector wheels, 17x8" size but what back spacing should I go with? I don't want them sticking out past the wheelwells!!

Re: 8-lug wheel suggestions

Late model wheels...

My 1970 is still in the works so I rolled these Late Model wheels just in front of the stock wheels to see what they looked like.

Then purchased the adapter lugs for the center caps.
They look great I'm keeping them!!!!

The whole set with good rubber $175.00 at the yard
