Re: Brake bleeding?

Start with the right rear then left rear then right front then left front.
usually pro valves have a bleeder on the front of them.

Re: Brake bleeding?

i start with the left rear which is the longest run of tubing from the master cylinder then the right rear right front and left front// you also need to hold the pin in on the combination valve with a special tool (some use a cclamp) while bleeding brakes

Re: Brake bleeding?

Hey I just went through the same thing and I found that my wheel cylinders were bad on the rear. Also I didnt hold in the pin on the proportioning valve, It prob. would have been better to do so. I also had to replace the hose for the rear brakes. the one that runs from your hard line down to the axle. Mine was completely closed off. I also went to the drivers side rear first because on the 72 with coils this wheel is farthest away because of the routing of the lines.

Re: Brake bleeding?

You can start front or rear - doesn't matter as they are fed separately.
