Benefits of a 700R4
I was hoping to get a little input on any benefits people have experienced. The one benefit I'm hoping to get is driveability on the freeway. My truck has 456 gears and I'm trying to keep my bottom end but also gain on the top end. I don't plan on towing with this truck and in the next year plan on rebuilding the motor or replacing it with something the produces around 350HP
Any input would be great! Thanks

i like the first gear as well... its sweet. and just the fact that your over 1000 rpms lower on the freeway is awesome

Re: Benefits of a 700R4
Thanks for the input, That's what I thought but wasn't sure. My tire height is only 29" so that combination would make it even lower. I may have to go with 373's
Thanks

Re: Benefits of a 700R4
Had mine installed by a trusted pro. He felt that 373's were the best mate to a 700r4. I'm very satisfied with mine!

Re: Benefits of a 700R4
I'm running 373's with my 700R4 and I love it. I had 3.08's and it was horrible. Yeah the rpm's were waaaayyy low, but there was a lot more downshifting and such whenever you encountered a hill. I think 373's or 4.10's with a 700R4 is perfect..............................Bamm24
