Want to borrow or buy engine hoist/cherry picker
Like the title says, looking to get a used engine lift to pull the motor in the truck to go through it. I'd like to have it fairly close as I don't have a truck (that runs ) to pick it up and I'd need help loading it (recent back surgery and cannot lift )
I know I am probably asking too much but I'll never know unless I ask. I did pick up an engine stand last weekend so I have that going for me. I have seen a handfull on Craigslist but nobody seems to want to return my calls/emails, they're probably already gone anyways. I also could buy one from Harbor Freight or Pep Boys, just a lot of money for a one time use. Let me know if someone out there has something. Mike |

Don't know how far south you are, but there are two of them presently listed in the San Diego Union Tribune classifieds for $100.00 each.

If memory serves me well,(I saw the ads this morning), they are either under auto parts & supplies or under tools and equipment.

Hey Mike - I don't have a cherry picker, but if you find something in San Diego let me know if I can help out. I'd be happy to help out if I can - just let me know with time.
