1970 chevy stepside - finaly rolling
Thanks for all the great advive on getting this girl together. Some of the latest mods are: Electric Fan 4 inch lift Rewiring of the dome light 86 Suburban Dana 44 with disk in the front New master cylinder and combo vavle Custom leangth front driveshaft New tires New carb - hoses Wiring a new style internal regulated Alt. Wiring of the rear brake lights Needs are: Back up lights Rear bumper Tail gate chains Licence plate lights Some pics:

Mine looked real close to that before i started removing rust and tearing it down. Nice truck you have there

Thanks for the kind words - Good luck with yours. I was thinking this truck would not roll for some time yet but the wife was out helping me finish it on mothers day while the kids played ball in the yard. Im thinking of fixing the rust one body panel at a time - the color is going to stay white so it will be hard to tell - i hope. What color are you going with? What size tires do you have? Mine are 31's.

Im going with the factory Med. bronze with white top. My dad bought a 70 brand new like that so im gonna clone his truck and give it to him for fathers day probably next yr
