battery drain
I have had the truck sitting still while I work on the body. I had to move it today and dead battery...I hate electrical problems. Here is what I have checked have I missed anything?
Battery cables, cleaned and reconnected ground, checked all grounds to the frame. fuse box to see if any drain while truck is off,,,none that I can tell I think it may have something to do with the fact that I put a 94 amp internal alt. on it recently. I rewired the external regulator as one of the post here explained. Two outside plugs wired togehter and two inside plugs together. Could this be my issue??please help. Thanks a million!

Re: battery drain
I actually just wired mine. I wired the two outside together and left the other two open. Then capped the white wire and wired the 3rd plug to the blue wire. The 1 plug goes to the battery post on the alt. If you need some pics let me know.
