A short bed c10 will tip the scales between 3800-4200lbs, depending on options. Usually right around 4000 is the norm. Not sure how heavy a blaze is.

I get different weights on my truck every time I go to a scale so it's hard to say exact weight. A blazer will be heavier even in 2wd form. The shell adds a couple hundred pounds. Sliding windows weigh more then standard non sliding also you have a tailgate with glass in it and the structure of the blazer from the drivers seat back is different. A good guess would be a 1000 pounds more weight then a standard pu.

I would say somewhere around the low 4000 pound range.

Re: is blazer much heavier than p.u. ?

I weighed my Blazer about 2 or 3 years ago, it was about 4800.. And I was running 1/8th at 8.3 at the drag strip.. I had some mad Ford Mustang at me. Sorry I had to put that in too...

Re: is blazer much heavier than p.u. ?

2wd Blazer = 4151 curb weight

2wd swb (fleetside) = 3803

2wd swb (stepside) = 3835

The Big 10 (HD suspension) trucks weigh slightly more.
