Look what followed me home Saturday!
My buddy and I went in partners to buy this thing and tinker with. It's a '71 Custom Deluxe with A/C ,350/TH350, hedders, Edelbrock intake, Holley carb, Hei, 10" wide Eagle wheels, ps, and disc brakes, but not power brakes. It's pretty much rust free except the rockers, and cab corners, which also came with the truck! It seems to run and drive good. It was too wide to fit on the trailer so we drove her up on the side rail. What do you think?

Re: Look what followed me home Saturday!
THANK YOU!!!! It's been a while since I spewed my Mountain Dew all over my moniter... Pulling it up on the rail like that is PRICELESS!!! I'll bet the pucker factor was a solid 10 to whomever was in the drivers seat.
Looks like a great starting point. is that surface rust coming through the paint... or is that just a mossy moldy layer of crap? If it's the latter, I'd give it a real good scrubbing, and buff it out and see what you got to start with, it may look good enough to run it a year or two. What other options does she got on her? Re: Look what followed me home Saturday!
Looks good, if you don't mind me asking, what did you pay? Also, is there a short fleet on every corner in Arkansas? I can't believe how many are down there.

Re: Look what followed me home Saturday!
I think I would have gotten a ticket sure as crap if I had done that, either that or it would have slipped over the side rail and hung a fender or something..... Good job guys.....................Bamm

Re: Look what followed me home Saturday!
Looks like the truck is winking at me. Like it's sayin' "See, told you I could ride the rail up here." Nice.

It looks like a pretty good truck to restore though.

Re: Look what followed me home Saturday!
It would be a great starter for someone. It runs and drives. We just bought it to tinker with some and try to make a little money on.

Re: Look what followed me home Saturday!
I'd lose that back bumper, And drive that. I'm here in S.W Mo and I could use one of those Ark.Short Beds (just the BED) for my 68!
