dum luck
well last night was cruiser night here in rapid city so i took the truck out and was cruising and this morning i was going to rebuild the rearend with the ring and pinion i got a month ago, well its an open carrier and when we pulled the spider gears and the bearings from the carrier we found that the the bearings had spun on the carrier and that it was shot so i figured i'd take advantage of the oppurtunity to update to a posi so i called out to inland tuck parts and they said they'd have to order it
so i checked around and no one in town had one but we got the the old carrier stuck back in and the tires back on to push it out side for a few day till my eaton posi unit shows up i was planning on cruising around town this afternoon to try and catch up with some people but oh well i have a loaner car for a few days i guess anyways cruiser night was good i seen bryan (67 cstswb) there was there any one else there?

Re: dum luck
I've done business with Inland for years, even worked there for a very short time. They don't stock carriers & most gears. Very few "local" places do anymore. Good choice on the Eaton- Auburn units have a bad rep. I don't think Inland sells them anymore for that reason.
