Hi, Im new AND in England
HI I'm Fred,
I have just joined this forum, hoping to get some help restoring my '79 shortbox which I have just been re-united with after a break of ten years and £800.00! I have previously ran a '69 step Chev, a '72 Dodge and '78 Ford Falcon station wagon. Currently drive an Audi but I can't wait to sell it and have the truck as my main wheels. I want to end up with a matt black beaut like the one I found on this site (BELOW) on 17" maybe 20" Cragar SS's, but that is all a long way off, just look at the state of it! Trying to source a whole list of body panels at the moment, then will move on to lowering (maybe leave it stock), wheels interior etc etc . Any help and advice will be greatly received...wish I could come to the meet! Fred Musik |

Re: Hi, Im new AND in England
Welcome to the board from Western Kentucky. I take it is a right hand drive. I went to an American high school in England at Lakenheath Air Base. Did my softmore, junior and senior year there. We had an American car there and it was really a bugger to pass being on the left side of the car and no passenger to tell you if a car is coming or not. This was back in 1962. So you can tell I am older than 21. (My Dad was in the Air Force)

Re: Hi, Im new AND in England
No, its a left hooker. It is originally from a US airforce base over here. I'm desperate to get it on the road but I need so many parts for it, it's a really hassle getting everything either sent over or pay twice the amount here!
