air cleaners

i want to get a new air cleaner for my truck, nothin fancy just something to get rid of the big crappy stock one. i dont care what it looks like as long as its functional and cheap. does anyone know where i can get a used one or a cheap (decent quality but ugly) new one? or does anyone have one laying around they are trying to get off their hands? also, do i need one that will specifically fit a quadrajet? or will one for any small block chevy work? how big can i go until i get issues with hood clearance? my truck is bone stock. thanks.

Re: air cleaners

If you really wanna be cheap, flip the lid on your stock air cleaner over. You can even get a K&N filter to put in there.

I would spring for a cheap open element filter though.
