FS: 1969 Blazer-Great Project

YET A NEW LOWER PRICE---$2850

12/30/07 UPDATE--I thought I had this sold to a local guy, but I haven't heard anything from him for over a month so it is FOR SALE again. I put new spark plugs, wires, coil, condensor and points in it and it runs pretty good now.

I really really really need to sell this soon, I'm in a pinch and need the $$ PDQ

Price is $3000 OBO, Sorry I can't do any trading, I need the $$ badly.

BLAZER-1970
VIN—KE18D(or O or C)S141134
Model—KE10(or 9)514
Driver cab floor-needs work
Chrome glove box door s/stickers
Bucket seats-no rips, really nice
Console-no cracks/extra holes, mounting holes good-not ripped out
Console-very restorable
Rear seat-needs attached-probably recovered-arm rest cracked
Guages-Woodgrain-decent
Tach
Tilt
4x4-=works good
Hardly any rust
Radio-gone, but hole is perfect
Windshield-cracked-junk
Top needs work-but usuable
Hood-has a bad spot on it-bondo-I do have another hood to replace it
Dash pad-junk
No power steering or power brakes or AC
ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT
Rear seat equipment
Front wheel lock hubs
G78x15 frt
Auxillary top-white
Green vinyl trim
Heavy duty aux seat
Heavy duty front sp
Rear positraction
Radio-pushbutton-gone
Med green

Have original glove box door with option sticker
Body has hardly any rust-just needs shims to even up gaps.
Doors need weather stripping
**Tranny leaks-I think it is at the dipstick seal
**Speedo needs fixed
**Oil pressure needs hooked up
**Gas tank needs grounded
Need to put rubber in body mounts
Heavy duty rear bumper with “Hawkins Chev Co” stamped in it
Passenger seat needs brackets to hold it down where the pull pen is supposed to catch
Chrome ash tray
Bed floor-decent-only a few little rust spots-can be easily fixed
Nicer tailgate
Hatch needs attention
Cowl panel is good
Drivers rocker has a spot of rust-easily fixed
Doors-no rust-I think they are aftermarket
Rear bedsides-no rust on either side
Chrome steering column plate
Newer white wagon wheels
Almost new tires-Bridgestone Dueler A/T 31x10.5 R15LT 109S693
Newer exhaust
New gas tank
Headers-one is cracked-should probably be replaced
Frame has been coated black
Nice 69/70 grill
No front bumper
Battery tray-fair shape
I think it is a 350 V8 engine
6 lug wheels

Blazer was originally a manual but has been updated with an automatic
I do have old transfer case and crossmember if you want to convert back.
I think it is missing out, but may just need plugs/wires-1 got a little close to headers at some point
Heater controls-face is gone
Needs all weather stripping
Grant steering wheel-ok shape
Front bucket seats have the metal backs

OK, The blazer will have to be trailered due to leak of tranny fluid(I have not done any investigating to see what it is going to take to fix the leak-I just know that after it set for 4/5 months all the fluid was on the shop floor. Again, I have the origianl manual transfer case and crossmember to convert it back.

With a little work and time this blazer would be very road worthy-would be a great one to restore as you drive.

I have a clear Missouri title for it-is from 2 owners ago, but nobody ever dated it so it is good to go.

***$3550.00*** Blazer is located in Northeast Kansas.

PLEASE don't bring this to the board meet!! It is way too nice for me to walk away from.
YIKES--looks like a great project with tons of potential for a very, very reasonable price! Huck

Re: FS: 1969 Blazer-Great Project

72armyswbtruck--sure, on a trailer , sorry, the tranny leak would definately need attention before a trip is possible-would probably want to do a tuneup on engine too as I know nothing about it.

when this blazer gets down to "Free and that includes shipping" I'll take it off your hands. Wish I had the money! Don't want to trade for a '67 open road with only 46k original miles, do ya?
