Metal around headlights
Did I read somewhere that the metal around the double headlights on my 72 GMC is aluminum and can be buffed back up to full shine. It is pretty good and close to chrome in some parts others are a bit more dull but more shine that aluminum.
Just curious will pop it out if that is the case and get out the whirling sheep. Warren |

Re: Metal around headlights
Hey Warren,
The headlight bezels on my GMCs are chromed steel. Try a magnet on yours, but I have never heard of aluminum ones. Do like Greasemonkey72 said and give polishing a try. Should help a lot. Later---DAC
