Anyone rebuild their steering gear?
I bought a rebuild kit from rock auto. No instructions, just an exploded parts diagram. Anyone done this and have any pointers for me? Is this a big job or an easy afternoon project?
Thanks, -Tim

Re: Anyone rebuild their steering gear?
All I have done is reseal one, but I would recomend a service manual. There will be valve and bearing adjustments and it has to be right it wont work .

Re: Anyone rebuild their steering gear?
I have copies of the GM Factory Overhaul Manual for power steering boxes and pumps. PM me if interested.
